There is a movement these days toward "voluntary simplicity" that actually seems to be a positive development. Another I like is a growing movement toward smaller, less elaborate homes--in some cases very tiny ones. I'm tracking both for possible use in the new blog upcoming.

David

Re: What’s going on…and you?

David, glad to hear your cast is off and you can now walk. Take it easy tho.

I would like to see something on the order of what life was like during the time we were growing up, the 1950's. Life was so much simpler then, families were close, often multigenerational. The "Baby Boomer" generation grew up with excesses and now in this recession/depression don't know how to survive in the lean times.

Maybe take some of the FFL questions/discussons and elaborate on them.
