A Texan Abroad: Personal challenges and a little politics…

Hi David, I do wish you the best with your upcoming operation and recovery. It was sad news for me to read from someone that has been an internet friend over the years we have known each other. The only 'good news' part of all of it is that you have a superb support team to see you through all of this. If you did not know it, politically speaking, we are on the same page. In New Hampshire, my Senator Judd Gregg (considered here as a right wing moderate) just expressed his fears that current administration proposals could drive the USA into bankruptcy. I told my dearest Lyubimaya long ago that this would happen. I hope you can enjoy the value of your dollars while they are still worth something. I have recently read that the value of the Grivna will drop further to about $1 = 9 Grivna. While that is good news for the moment to those having dollars, it will become bad news when the value of the dollar drops. Right now, I think exchanging dollars for euros is a good move. I do expect the dollar value to drop considering the current administrations' proposals. Darn it all! The very best to you, my friend. I know you are in the finest of hands for what you are about to undergo. ---Lou--- louren@msbx.net

I find your views on the politics here in the US very fair and educated. You say what I have been saying but much more eloquently. Our financial problems are not politcal but it is made that way by the media who are giving this president a free pass. Anyone who opposes moves made is labelled a racist! It is very sad and I am thankful I don't have children to pass this finacial mess on to.
I wish you a speedy recovery! Blessings!

"no one is actually holding a gun to the head of anyone to read it. Besides, you can always skip over political discussion if you wish."
You are quite correct. Enjoy your many other readers and "commenters".
